You saved me a lot of hsslae just now.
>>Anachronism, blacklotusMy guess is hneteir; I'd say rather that both figures are based on the same original illustration (I don't have it handy, but it was posted to 2chan recently and seems to predate both kits). Japanese sculptors typically don't rip each other off directly (to my knowledge), though they have been known to produce very similar kits based on the same original illustration (Yamashita Shunya's Rickenbacker x Girl, for one, has seen multiple incarnations).>>20LizardmenI definitely see where you're coming from; the sculptor's style isn't much at all like her original design. I occasionally like that more realistic look though as a change of pace
VAb, you took the words right out of my mouth, er, brain! Seems to me (waaay back in the day) that we were graded on nhgtis like "Gets along with others," "Follows Directions," Is quiet during circle time" and the like. Wow...social studies?? Yeah, makes home school sound better and better each day!
Shingo-san,Ooops,my bad.Yeah,it ain't by Yamashita Shunya,so I used the word shunya-ish but on a ecosnd glance, It ain't even close to the stuff yamashita shunya does. Must have been all that booze from those holiday parties that got my senses all mixed up. Anyway, even if it's a Kanu Uncho figure,I'll pass on this one.Somehow, it doesn't look like a kanu figure to me.Some may like it,but some may not.Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.
